The Project Area is located within the SWEK on unallocated crown land. The site is situated at the north eastern extent of the Sorby Hills Ranges. Tenement M80/286 encompasses a portion of the ranges and associated foot slopes, the remainder of tenement M80/286 and tenement M80/197. Totalling 12,612.4 ha. Post-mining land use will return the land back to pasture.
